Please invite your church to come to our annual Roe V Wade Memorial Service
Summit Center on 3787 Main St Bridgeport.
Statewide clergy will speak and pray.
Peter Wolfgang, CT Family Institute, is our keynote speaker.
Try to let us know how many are coming so we can give the police a estimated count.
This event is scheduled for Thursday Jan 22, 2015, 9 AM (snow date Friday) It’s been 42 years of legalized child sacrifice and over 55 million children created in the image of God have been brutally murdered. Shame on us in America that we've allowed this to happen.
We need your support. Their business is slow – please pray and take a public stand with us so it will close soon and baby killing will end in our community. 73 abortion facilities shut down in 2014 in the United States and 75% of all abortion clinics have closed since 1991.
Needs: diapers sizes 4, 5, 6 and wipes. Stop & Shop food cards
Please pray for God to use us to save lives and souls.
Pray for moms and others to make Jesus their Lord and Savior.

Calvary Life Church will be having a diaper drive between now and Christmas to help the moms and babies in the pro-life ministry. We encourage you all to do the same thing in your churches. These are moms that are in crisis situations and were contemplating abortion. When we plead with them to keep their babies we promise to help them anyway we can. Diapers and wipes are the most expensive item for needy moms to buy. All sizes can be used including the larger sizes because the babies grow out of the little ones fast. Please put it on your shopping list and pick up some diapers and wipes when you go grocery shopping.... for the least of these our brethren. Thank you! God bless!
Please join us every Wednesday and Saturday (sometimes Friday) at 3787 Main St Bridgeport and Saturdays at 345 Whitney Ave New Haven from 8 AM- 10 AM as we reach out to moms who find themselves where they should not be. If not us...then who? If not here..then where? If not now...then when? Look at the pictures of these babies, if Christians weren't out there to plead the case of the fatherless, they wouldn't be alive today. Soften your hearts and do something out of your comfort zone this Christmas season... saving lives and souls for Jesus!
For the Least of These,

Our faithful brother in the Lord, Vinny Bosco, did a teaching at his church (Lighthouse Fellowship, Bridgeport) on abortion.A woman from his church that was there sent him this testimony:
Deacon Vinny,
Thank you for such inspiring words of wisdom this past weekend, you rocked!!!
I wanted to let you know that because of those ugly signs that are held up at the mill....
people like you helped save my son's life 27+ years ago.
Thank you, Deacon VInny, I appreciate you and love you in the Lord:-)
(It was probably Stan Scott)
A friend calls you early thing in the morning and tells you 15 moms are going into the clinic to have their two year old little boys and girls killed. The police won't stop it .WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
1.) Fall to your knees and pray for 20 minutes then go about your busy day?
2.) Decide that you will vote pro-life and go about your business?
3.) Write a check to a pro-life group and then go about your business?
4.) GO TO THE KILLING PLACE AND TRY TO PERSUADE MOMS NOT TO KILL THEIR KIDS.
The first three choices are needed but the fourth is the only one that can save a life.
We would do that for two year olds, why not for boys and girls in the womb that are 2 months - 9 months?

your labor is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
Bridgeport Stats for July 2014
59 babies killed by surgical abortions
6 babies saved because Christians came out
Thirteen pro-lifers from Connecticut went to the Operation Save America's national event in New
Orleans, Louisiana July 19th-26th. We were blessed to co-labor with hundreds of other pro-life
Christians from all over the country on the streets of Louisiana. We did a memorial funeral service
for an aborted baby in the center of town.
Abortion mills were mostly closed and the lost heard the Gospel message. There was a church
service every night with excellent teachings, exhortations and testimonies of the power of God.
National OSA Director Philip (Flip) Benham passed the baton to Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas who was
born in Bridgeport, CT and now resides in Waco, Texas with his 13 children and numerous
grandchildren. Hundreds of youth came up to give testimony to Flip and his wife Faye of how they
have imparted Christ into their lives during the past twenty years.
Our two new sidewalk counselors Vivian and Bel that have been faithfully coming out to
Bridgeport and PP every Saturday. We are so excited that they are reaching out to their
piers. They are fearlessly speaking to the moms going into the mills. They have been consistent in
their prayer life and God is using them powerfully! They are so eager to learn!!
We are praying for the Lord to continue to draw many young people to come out and
made a difference in their community and state!! Lets keep praying in Jesus Name!

The OSA-CT group with Flip & Faye.
A friend of ours has befriended a woman who worked at the Summit abortuary for almost two
years. Her story is one of grief and sorrow until God led her out. She started as a
secretary/receptionist and then helped out on the floor assisting counting the baby pieces and
cleaning up afterwards. Some of what she related to was very disturbing and so very sad. She
states it was one of the darkest periods of her life. She became convinced during her time
working there that life begins at conception and anything otherwise is a LIE. She is glad she is not
working there anymore. She is heading towards salvation and being set free. She has had
nightmares over it since. It was discussed about her going on the record about it all and she said
some day she would be glad to speak with us about her experience. Pray for her please.
We also spoke to another worker that quit Summit. He was there picking up his last check. We all
talked to him on the way out. He doesn't have a job yet, but I mentioned to him that the
Bridgeport Police Academy is taking applications for new police officers. He was thrilled and said
he would like to apply. He gave me his cell number and I was able to call him with the
information. I also invited him to our church since he does live in West Haven.
To God be The Glory!!
More good news: the past three weeks the mill was closed on Fridays! PTL!
Presently the killing days are Wednesday and Saturday.
We are there from 8 AM -10 AM at 3787 Main St. Bridgeport.

I am blessed to say that three moms and their families have been coming to Calvary Life Church
in Cheshire. One of the moms is dedicating her baby this Sunday July 13, the address is 174 E
Johnson Ave if anyone wants to come, 10 AM service. (will post a pix in next month's newsletter)

One out of every three babies in America is killed by abortion!
Psalm 125:3 "For the wicked shall not rule the godly, lest the godly be forced to do wrong."
This has gone too far...Barack Obama's crusade against innocent children has reached a fevered
peak. Obama, and the excommunicated Kathleen Sebelius are forcing people to pay $1 per
month for abortion through their health insurance plan! $1 a month multiplied by everyone in
America is $3.7 billion dollars!
There are no surcharges for cancer treatments, heart disease or debilitating childhood diseases
like leukemia. No, only $3.7 million dollars surcharge for abortion! Shame! (FMR)
The Supreme Court, on June 26, unanimously struck down a protest-free buffer zones at abortion
clinics in Massachusetts (McCullen v. Coakley). This sets a precedent for other clinics in our nation.
Justice Scalia said the opinion carried forward the courts practice of suppressing abortion
opponents free-speech, while using an entirely separate abridged edition of the First Amendment
for speech against abortion. This challenge was brought by a 77 year old Eleanor McCullen, who
quietly converses and offers help to persuade moms not to abort. She said she was thankful to
God that the court protected her right to engage in kind, hopeful discussion with women who feel
they have nowhere to turn. Our attorney Michael DePrimo, was involved with lawyers on this case.
Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley (D) said their state will look for a solution to
protect everyone from harassment, threats, and physical obstruction. President of Planned
Parenthood, Cecile Richards, said the ruling disregarded American women who should be able to
make "medical" decisions without harassing threatening protestors.

Our local Planned Parenthood in New Haven sent out a letter calling themselves "a key health care provider for thousands of women, men, children in southern New England". They also stated that "Most people don't know PP believes every woman has the right, the freedom, and the opportunity to follow her own personal ambitions and choose her own path toward a healthier, more meaningful life -- and that we've been fighting for this for close to 100 years." Does this sound like a death camp that kills almost 400,000 babies a year! God have mercy on us, help us bring the nation back to you!!
Lord as you send us out as lambs among wolves,
I pray your protection against any evil spirits
that would come against the pro-lifers on the front line.
I pray you would bind any spells, curses, hexes, or incantations that have been brought against us and may they return to the pit of hell from where they come.
Lord use me to save as many babies as I can TODAY.
.
Lord give me your words to reach the women going into the mill to destroy their babies lives.
Lord send your ministering angels into the death camp to drive demonic spirits away.
Lord please send your Holy Spirit to speak to the women that sit waiting to kill their child.
Lord, please send workers to bring this great harvest of souls and unborn children that just simply want to live. Amen and amen.

I asked our attorney, Michael DePrimo, to write a couple of paragraphs below:
City of Bridgeport Settles Pro-Life Lawsuit
The City of Bridgeport has settled a lawsuit brought by Marilyn Carroll and Carmen Vazquez in
2012 challenging the City's policy that prohibited the reasonable use of sound amplification on
the sidewalk outside the Summit Women's Center. The City has admitted that the reasonable use
of a mechanical sound amplification device is constitutionally protected and therefore will no
longer forbid its use. The City also agreed that permits will no longer be needed for simple
sidewalk assemblies outside Summit that do not generate crowds. Finally, the City agreed to pay
$20,000. in attorney's fees and to train its officers to respect First Amendment rights.
Marilyn and Carmen began using a portable loudspeaker in March 2010 because noise generated
by traffic and other motorized devices on Main St in front of Summit made it difficult to reach
women in Summit's parking lot. They used the loud speaker for over two years before a newly-
assigned police captain issued directives to police officers under his command to inform pro-life
advocates that mechanical sound devices would no longer be allowed at Summit. Unsurprising,
the directive was issued in response to complaints by Summit staff. However, a First Amendment
right to use sound amplification was first recognized by the United States Supreme Court in 1948
in the case of Saia V. New York. Since then, numerous courts have upheld the right to use sound
amplification so long as it is reasonable given the time, place, and surrounding circumstances.
Here is the obituary that was in the newspaper for a Summit ABORTIONIST that killed babies for
many decades on Middle Street. This makes him sound like a hero; are you kidding me?
Souvlis, MD, Charalambos D.
Charalambos "Harris" D. Souvlis, MD, a retired OB-GYN, age 92, devoted husband of Elli
Karamazakis Souvlis, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2014. In addition to Elli,
his loving wife of 45 years, Dr. Harris Souvlis will be remembered by his sons, James Souvlis, of
Athens, Greece, and John Souvlis. Born and raised in Chalkis, Evia, Greece, Dr. Souvlis received
his Medical Doctorate from the University of Athens. He spent six years in New York City after
coming to the United States in 1954, moving to Bridgeport before settling in Fairfield with his
family in 1970. Paving the way for many talented doctors, he was proud to have been the first to
be accepted into the Connecticut Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society with an earned
Doctorate from a University overseas. He held privileges for Park City Hospital, St. Vincent's
Medical Center, and Bridgeport Hospital. In reflecting upon his time in practice, he found
tremendous joy and satisfaction in knowing he helped thousands of women bring their children
into the world. He was especially blessed when delivering the last baby before his retirement, a
child who's grandmother was the first baby Dr. Souvlis delivered. Throughout his life, he firmly
expressed love for his family and devotion for the care of his many patients. Truly a man for
others, he will be missed by all whom he touched in life. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday
from 4 to 7 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center with
Trisagion services at 6 PM. Friends are invited to go directly to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox
Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport on Wednesday at 11 AM where the Rite of Burial will be
officiated by Father Andreas Vithoulkas Presbyter, interment immediately following in Oak Lawn
Cemetery, Fairfield. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Red Cross Mid-
Fairfield County Chapter, 158 Brooklawn Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604.

We are still saving for a car for Tironda, if you would like to contribute, please put a note in the

2 babies were saved from abortion when moms changed minds
(this activity is recorded by what we observe there)

Mom is doing very good and working full time and enjoying her happy son!!
AND THE LORD SAID "GO"
And I said "Who me?" and He said "Yes, you." "But I'm not ready yet and there is company coming
and I can't leave the kids and you know there's no one to take my place." And He said "You're
stalling." And again the Lord said "go." And again I said "But I don't want to." And He said "I
didn't ask if you wanted to." "Listen I'm not the kind of person to get involved in controversy and
besides my family won't like it and what will my neighbors think?' And He said "Baloney." And
yet a third time the Lord said "go" and He said "do you love me?" And I said "Look, I'm scared
people are going to hate me and cut me to pieces, I can't take it all by myself." And He said,
"Where do you think I'll be?" And the Lord said "Go." And I sighed, "Here I am, send me."
"There is no other way to fulfill the Great Commission than for Christians to take the light of the
gospel into every dark corner of the earth - and into every cultural battle once they get there.
Who will plunge into the breach, risking all, to save those spiritual captives being led to death? It
must be Christians. There is no one else. Christians have the message that saves.
We have the light of God. Let's boldly shine it in the darkest corners of our culture.
(Ed Vitagliano, AFA Journal, Feb 2014)
"The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light." Matthew 4:16
The abortion industry tells me that when a couple of pro-lifers are there, over 30% of their
customers do not show up. They also say if there are twenty or more pro-lifers in front of their
abortion mill over 50% never show up. Planned Parenthood admitted 12 years ago that the
number one reason abortions are dropping was because pro-lifers standing outside the clinics. The
number two reason was because there were not enough doctors to perform abortions because of
the first reason. The third reason was abortion mills were closing all across America because of
the first reason. We will see abortion end when and only when Christians come out to the street
and say to these children: "We have heard your silent screams and we are answering your pleas
"What about me, what about my life, aren't I as important?"
(Pastor Ed Martin, Georgia, Jan. 2014)
"If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me."
Luke 9:23-24
This is my great grandson Abel. When I stand at the "gates of hell" in front of the abortion mill
and call out to moms going in to please spare their babies ... I think of him. I think each baby
being killed in the abortuary if left to grow and be born could be a beautiful blessing like Abel is
to us. I get all choked up and my heart hurts because these moms have no clue what they will be
missing out on. Please pray for them.
Please join us Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 3787 Main Street Bridgeport between
8AM-10AM.
The harvest is great but the laborers are few.

"I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead,
and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season;
reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when
people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears that they will accumulate for
themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and
wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an
evangelist, fulfill your ministry." 2 Timothy 4:1-5
January 2014 Stats for Bridgeport:

"In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities now powers nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39
These are babies born in January: Immanuel, Nadia, Kenny and Ellie.
The Rutherfords now have another infant baby girl, Ellie, the sister of the four foster care children. Please pray for God's favor in all the legal battles and pray for the judge making the decision. Pray for their peace and that the Lord will intervene on behalf of these precious children. The Rutherfords covet your prayers. Thank you!

CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING FROM THE LORD!
On Friday, January 24, we had a Roe v Wade Memorial prayer vigil. We remembered the 60 million babies that were killed by surgical abortion in the past 41 years. Over 40 people were present at the peak of the event. Al Vazquez was the moderator. Six pastors spoke and prayed about the sin of abortion plaguing our nation. They were Pastor Wayne Goodall (Haven of Rest, West Haven), Pastor Hector Muniz (Lighthouse Church, Bridgeport), Pastor Pedro Vazquez (Gospel Light, Bridgeport), Pastor Ryan Trawick (Promiseland, West Haven), Pastor Ron Nugent (Waterbury), Pastor Bob Rascati (Calvary Life, Cheshire).
We were blessed to have Nicole give her testimony about going to the Summit for an abortion. She shared about how she changed her mind after meeting and talking to us. She had baby Jamie with her, a product of God's grace! She said she could not imagine her life without him. PTL!
Attorney Michael DePrimo also spoke and reported on current pro-life court cases locally and national. Marilyn Carroll gave the local stats and national reduction rate of free standing abortion mills since 1990. There were 2000 then and its down to 675 now. PTL! It does make a difference when Christians come out to the streets and take a public stand against baby killing in their community. We are in Bridgeport at 3787 Main St Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8 AM- 10 AM. Please join us, Just show up and see what God will do! Music minister Brad Trawick, from Promiseland Church, did the music at the end of the service. We appreciate the Bridgeport Police for sending the mounted patrol to ensure the safety of those in the area. We had a time of fellowship and breakfast after the event. The CT Post newspaper covered the event the day before and the day after. We thank all of you that made this possible!
